Fred Ferrell is a Board Member with extensive experience in a broad range of industries. Fred has served on various boards including Trustmark Bank, YMCA, Southern Culture Foundation, Economic Development Foundation, the Vicksburg Country Club, St Francis School, and St Aloysius School. Additionally, he served as the Chairman of the Capital Fundraising Campaign to build new a new YMCA.
Not only has Fred been on various boards but he has helped start and run many companies over the years including Falco Chemical, Inc. , Great River Fertilizer, Inc. Power Transport, Inc. , Polyvulc USA, Inc. & Polyvulc Tire Recycling, Inc. and Winnsboro Rubber Recycling Inc.
In 1970 Fred joined Arkansas Best Freight in operations, sales and as a terminal manager. After spending eight years with the company Fred left the company and joined his great friend and fraternity brother Larry Lambiotte to create Falco Lime, Inc. Fred has served as President and Co-Owner for over 25 years.
Fred is a graduate of the University of Arkansas, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He is happily married to his wife of nearly five decades with 3 children and 8 grandchildren.
